Keeping our teammates happy is a priority; zeitin is not just a place we work at; it's also a place where we learn, share, create. Instead of a top down hieararchy, we are striving to create an environment where we share the responsabilitiyes and work together.

How we work?

In zeitin, we are curious, we research, we investigate, we analyze, we learn. Novelties are always attractive. We love our freedom; we work when we want, and how we want. We use and support free software. We know we are part of a team, we work together, we have fun together, and we solve problems together.

We can pick our working hours. What's important is the work we do, not the work hours we fill. So, at the end of every month we write a "perfomance review" summarizing our accomplishments. And based on our review, we get a percentage grading, each month. Based on this result, we can get much more (or sometimess less) than our regular pay.

We have a one month trial period. During this month, both the candidate and company can demonstrate how committed they are to each other. It's a time to show how to take on responsabilities and fulfill them. We don't wait for assignments, we take on responsabilities ourselves.

Personal Development

Significant resources are applied to personal development both in terms of inhouse and offsite education. Unless the management vetoes we can go to any training we want.

We have a growing library in our office. We get to request any book or magazine and they are promtply added to the library.

Meetings

All our meetings (just like all our inhouse trainings) are open to all who would like to attend. Our most enjoyable meetings are probably those lunches and dinners that we go to as a team.

Working at zeitin

Even though most of our teammates work full time, we have a few who can only work part-time: we want to make sure our part-time friends who are typically junior or senior students in college live their college life to the fullest before joining us full-time.
